Everyone dressed up as their favourite book character and the day began with a parade for families on the playground. It was lovely to see so many people staying for refreshments afterwards. During the day, the pupils welcomed local author Tristan Hutton who read his new book 'The Ant Team'. All of the children took part in story telling activities and impressed everyone with their hot seating and story telling skills. The day finished with 'buddy reading' across the school and everyone had a book of their choice to keep.  A wonderful day was enjoyed by all!
